LAND BACK Eco Tote Bag
LAND BACK IS NOT A METAPHOR
this tote was designed in solidarity with Moonpence Farm - a budding queer / trans / Black owned medicinal herb + flower farm in Piro-Tiwa lands (Manzano Mountains, NM) who are currently / urgently raising funds to pay off their land before they lose it!
This land is home to Serenus Herbs and the Serenus Herb Bank, a mutual aid care network providing historically marginalized communities with free herbal remedies with no questions asked. Since 2021, with the support of their monthly members, they’ve shared 492 free herbal care packages with Black &/or Indigenous folks via the Serenus Herb Bank! Moonpence Farm has until summer 2025 to pay off the 40 acres they’ve built their farm and homestead on. If they are not able to pay off the remainder owed by that date, they will lose their land and everything they’ve built so far!
